GrandVision is the factory behind the cameras on this site. For more than 13 years we have designed, engineered, and manufactured outdoor imaging products in our own facilities — trail cameras, digital night vision, kids cameras, and action cameras — and we build them for two kinds of partners: brands that sell our platforms under their own name (OEM), and brands that need a product engineered around their requirements (ODM). This page explains how both work, what we customize, and how to get a sample quickly.
What OEM Means Here — and What ODM Adds
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is the faster path: you select one of our existing, field-proven platforms, and we produce it with your brand. That includes your logo on the housing and packaging, custom color schemes, retail-ready box design, manuals in your language, and firmware configured for your market — default language, splash screens, and app branding where applicable. Because the hardware is already validated, OEM projects move from artwork approval to mass production in a predictable, short timeline.
ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) goes deeper. If your market needs something our catalog does not offer — a different lens field of view, a specific detection range, a revised button layout, an accessory bundle, or housing modifications for a niche use case — our engineering team adapts the design. ODM projects start with a specification review: you describe the use case and target price, we propose hardware options, timeline, and tooling costs, and prototypes follow. Most ODM modifications build on proven platforms rather than starting from zero, which keeps risk low and timelines realistic.
Four Product Lines, One Factory
Everything we customize is a product we build ourselves — not outsourced catalog items stitched together from different suppliers.
- Trail cameras: from 1080P scouting units to 4K LTE cellular models with solar power, time-lapse specialists, and sound-attractant variants. See the trail camera collection.
- Night vision: pocket monoculars, 4K binoculars, head-mounted goggles, 3D stereoscopic units, and night vision rifle scopes. Browse the night vision collection.
- Kids cameras: drop-resistant entry models, IPS-screen video cameras, and instant-print platforms including color thermal. Explore the kids camera collection.
- Action cameras: thumb-sized 4K units, dual-screen 5K vlog cameras, 5K 60fps flagships with 6-axis stabilization, and a pocket gimbal camera. Review the action camera collection.
Owning the design files, tooling, and firmware for all four lines means cross-line projects are realistic too — a brand that sells trail cameras can add night vision or kids cameras to its range without qualifying a second factory.
What We Customize
In practice, most partner requests fall into five buckets:
- Branding: logo printing or laser etching on housings, branded boot screens and apps, retail packaging, and manual artwork.
- Hardware configuration: lens options, IR illuminator choices (850nm low-glow vs. 940nm no-glow), battery capacity, button layouts, and accessory bundles.
- Firmware and localization: interface languages, default settings, regional frequency bands for 4G models, and feature adjustments for specific markets.
- Packaging: box structure and graphics, insert trays, barcodes and regulatory labeling for your destination market.
- Aftermarket support: spare parts availability, firmware update channels, and warranty documentation branded as your own.
The Process, Step by Step
1. Inquiry. Tell us which models interest you and your market. We reply with catalog pricing at your target volumes and honest answers about what can and cannot be customized on each platform. Use the contact page to start.
2. Sample. Samples ship in about a week so your team can test image quality, trigger performance, app experience, and build quality on real deployments — not on a spec sheet. Sample cost is credited against mass production orders.
3. Specification confirmation. For OEM, we lock artwork and firmware configuration. For ODM, we lock the engineering proposal, tooling plan, and certification requirements, then produce prototypes for your approval.
4. Mass production. MOQ starts at 100 units per model, which keeps first orders manageable for growing brands. Production runs under in-house quality control: incoming component inspection, assembly-line testing, and final inspection with burn-in on every unit.
5. Delivery and support. We ship worldwide with export documentation, and firmware updates plus spare-part supply continue after the sale.
Why Partners Choose GrandVision
Three reasons come up in every long-term partnership. First, vertical depth: sensor selection, firmware, housing design, and quality control happen under our own roof, so a problem is fixed by engineers rather than negotiated with a middleman. Second, a coherent catalog: the four lines share a design language and quality bar, letting brands expand categories with a supplier they already trust. Third, speed: proven platforms plus short sample cycles mean you can move from first inquiry to selling product in weeks, not quarters.
